Quiet Time Proverbs 22:4-5

“The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches, honor, and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; One who guards himself will be far from them.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22:4-5‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

The benefits of humility and reverence for the Lord are blessings and honor and abundant life. Traps, pitfalls, hardships are in the path of the perverse. The One who remains humble will be far from all of that.

Choices have consequences.
Our paths will be filled with what we choose.
Humility and reverence for the Lord are vitally important.

Those who are humble and fear God will be blessed in various ways. Those who are not humble and have no fear of God will have a much more difficult life.

Humbling myself before the Lord and others. Always be conscious of the Lord’s presence. Stay away from the influence of people who are perverse and ungodly.

God is high and lifted up. He is exalted above all. He alone is worthy of praise. He is the Blesser and the Blessed. Thank you God for your blessings and all the good things you have given to me!

Psalm 1, James 4:10, 1 Peter 5:5-7, Hebrews 12:1
