“Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?””

There are a lot of things we may have questions about in life. Some questions may be rooted in curiosity while others in identity or purpose. All questions reveal something about who we are and what we are about. Jesus confronts His disciples with the most important question in life. This question will define everything about us and our lives.
As can be seen from this passage above, the people had many different options about Jesus. Some thought He was one of the prophets, a special teacher rabbi, or maybe even someone reincarnated! The same is true of people today as many have a varied view of Jesus. But are these perceptions of Jesus accurate? It is essential to answer this question of who Jesus is correctly.
How do you answer the most important question? Who do you say Jesus is? What others say isn’t as important as what you say. Each one of us had to give our own answer to who Jesus is to us? He is Lord of heaven and earth and of my life. This is the only answer that is acceptable. Jesus is not contented to be listed equally among good teachers or people. He is superior to all. But each person has to answer that question for themselves. I pray that you weigh the question carefully and choose your answer with the wisdom and knowledge God has given you. Who do you say the Son Of Man is?
