Transformed Through Worship

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

As we look into the face of Christ in worship, we are transformed into his likeness. Then we begin to reflect His image unto others. This happens as a natural result of our own worship. If we want to reflect more of Christ, we must naturally be looking at Christ more than ourselves.

Looking at Christ will require an unveiling before Him. We cannot come pretending to worship; He knows our hearts. We must be honest and truthful. His Spirit will convict us. It is through the unveiling of self that Christ can cover us.

We contemplate ourselves much, wondering about what to eat, what to wear, what to buy; how much do we contemplate Christ? How often are we concerned about how we are bringing glory to Him? Or failing to do so for that matter.

Transformation of who we are happens as we worship and whatever we worship is what we are transformed into. We become what we behold. What we behold actually grabs hold of us and shapes us from the inside out. The only way for us to become more like Christ is to worship Him and through that worship, Holy Spirit will supernaturally transform us into the image of Christ. We will reflect more of Christ the more we behold Him.

Is Christ the One you worship?

What are you becoming?

What is being unveiled in you?

How does your worship need to change?

How is Christ changing you?
