God gave us this prophecy hundreds of years before Jesus was born. If you think waiting for Christmas gifts is hard, imagine waiting for prophecies such as this to be fulfilled! And yet the day and time came just like today has come. Although we will all spend time today with family and friends opening gifts and celebrating the day let us not forget to celebrate Jesus. This day isn’t about a day but about a person, our God Who came for the sole purpose of dying; to be our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.

We have the greatest gift in Jesus Christ. We have the greatest reason to celebrate because of His great love and compassion. Through Jesus we have access to God and the ability to call Him our Father. Now we can call on Him at any time from any place.

Jesus is Christmas and may all that He is be yours today and forevermore.
