All Things Point To Christ

“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

It may be crazy to believe but God is actively pursuing you long before you come to know Him. We are told that light travels over 186,000 miles per hour and at that rate, it still takes about 8 minutes for the sunlight to reach earth! Imagine how far in advance God had to send the star to lead the Wisemen! God had a plan all along to direct them to Christ…and He has a plan for you as well.

If you take a moment and simply surgery your surroundings and pay attention to your circumstances and situations, it will become more evident how God is is speaking and actively seeking after you. God has already given us so many “signs and wonders” just around the birth of Christ to demonstrate His love and the fact that all things are meant to point us to Christ.

It should not surprise us that God sent a star to lead the wisemen to His son since God sent His son to save the world! God loves people that much. He wants everyone to know Him and to worship Him. As we are one day away from Christmas, take a few moments today and be reminded of all God has done to bring you to Himself. Look over your life and take in the signs and wonders and realize that God has put things in motion long before now in order for you to worship Him. He’s been working out so many things to bring you to this place on life for you to realize that everything points to Christ Who is the only Lord and Savior.

What signs and wonders has God done in your life lately?

How has God been actively pursuing you that you would come to know Him better?

How can you demonstrate your worship of Jesus this Christmas?
