They’re Back.

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything. IDk I guess I feel like what is there really to say and then who would even read it? But at this point I’m looking for ways to improve some skills and writing and speaking are two things I really need to work on. So here I am…

Since I’m making a “comeback’ to this site, I thought I’d open with a couple of thoughts about another attempt at a “comeback” that officially happens today and that is of Star Wars to the “big screen”. Yes, it’s been 7 long years since The Rise of Skywalker debuted. Honestly, I’m a little afraid that this “comeback” won’t be as stellar as I have hoped.

Being a Star Wars fan since I was a child, I feel the franchise has suffered greatly from many things over the last several years. Whether it’s the leadership, storytelling, or combination of all of it, I do long for the days of the excitement and anticipation I used to feel when a new Star Wars movie was coming out. However, from all the reviews, comments and past shows, I’m more than a little hesitant to thrust myself into a hyperspace mode to see this one. I think I’m gonna wait a day or two before investing time and money into something that everyone seems to think is just “made for TV” being shown on a larger screen, especially since I already pay for Disney+.

My “comeback” may have the same effect for all I know. My attempt to stay faithful to writing often and keeping this site current and up-to-date with insights and thoughts may only find its way to the Outer Rim of the trash can too. But like Disney, I suppose we are making an attempt. Is there any way you are making some kind of “comeback”?

Once I see the movie, (which I am sure I will), I’ll plan to make a little “review” myself. Until then, share what you think about how Disney is making a comeback with The Mandalorian and Grogu. Or share what your favorite Star Wars movie is and why. I’d love to hear from you!
