Sometimes I need to be reminded that I can’t see everything. Honestly I can’t even dream or imagine everything that I would possibly want. That can lead me to settle into a rut or accept less than the best. It’s important to remember what the scripture says:
“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.””
I Corinthians 2:9 NKJV

I can also buy into the fallacy that all I see is all there is. With the world in chaos and life being difficult to define at times, my vision for the future can become dismal and blurred. In times like that I have to pull back and be reminded that God has desires and plans that go beyond what my reality may be demonstrating. I must remember that God’s view is much, much better and different than mine.
““For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV

Let today be a day that I have the vision to see beyond what reality may show me and may I have the ability to believe in what I cannot see…yet.
Thank you for a timely and encouraging reminder.
