Faithful Where You Are

The main thought for me is to simply be faithful doing what I feel God has called me to do. Don’t get caught up in comparisons or measuring what I do against someone else; we have different callings. What God intends to do with me and through me is only lost on me, not God. It’s lost on me when I forget who I am while trying to be someone or something I’m not.

The amazing thing about following God is that He hasn’t called me to be someone else. He doesn’t expect me to be someone else. He made me to be me and He’s good with that. The talents, gifts or abilities with my personality mix is exactly what He put together for His design and pleasure. I shouldn’t envy someone else’s calling because I have no idea what challenges or heartaches they face. Instead of envying their calling I need to embrace my own.

Principle: Settle into your own calling and fully enjoy the uniqueness of being you right where you are.  Ephesians 2:10

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
