Why hasn’t the Lord returned? Is it because He has forgotten? Is it because He doesn’t exist? No! It is because He is kind, allowing more time for people to come to Him; to find Him in repentance. He always keeps His promises. He is fully aware of everything, so let us not be deceived into any other line of thinking. Just because God has not done something we think He should have done by now, doesn’t mean anything other than He has another better plan which is filled with grace and kindness.

The Lord will come again and His promise is sure. However out of deliberate kindness He is extending His salvation to anyone who will heed His call. He doesn’t desire anyone to perish apart from Him, thus the Father patiently waits longer to announce the return of Jesus.

God is inviting people into His presence daily. It is through His kindness that people find repentance. Romans 2:4 NLT

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

How is your life? Are you faithfully following Jesus?

Do you doubt His return because of the way life and the world are going?
