Paraphrase:

Anything that’s good or perfect that comes to you at anytime is something sent from the hand of God, Who is our Father. He’s the Father of Light and created all Light, including those in the sky and heavens above; He never casts a shadow or darkness of any kind because He never changes.

Premise:

When something good happens in our lives it’s because we have a Heavenly Father who has sent something our way at just the right time. He knows our needs and wants and takes care of His Children.

God created Light and in Him there is only Light. He never does anything shady. Everything He does is good, pure, and righteous because He is holy. When something bad happens it is not from God. He may allow it but it is never from His hand.

God gifts us with Light: the ability to know Him, to understand spiritual things and to see and experience the good things of this world.

Principle:

God is Light and He never casts a shadow of darkness.

Everything that comes to me that is good comes from God.

God created Light and gives me enlightenment to understand and know Him.

Promise:

God never changes.

He only gives good gifts.

Ponder:

What gifts has God given me lately?

How has Light affected my life?

How thankful have I been for all God has given me?

Practice:

Acknowledge all the good things in my life as they are from God.

When times get tough, look for God’s Light.

Prayer:

Thank you Heavenly Father for the Light you have given me: to know you and to have so much in this world. You have blessed me beyond measure! Thank you for the physical and spiritual gifts that have come directly from you to me; I wouldn’t have anything without you. Help me to be more aware of your goodness to me.
