It’s the day before resurrection day. Some may called it “Silent Saturday”. It’s important to remember that on the cross Jesus said: “It is finished”. Nothing more needed to be done. The work was finished. What does Jesus do after work? He does what He has seen His Father do…He rested. It’s Sabbath. He rested because the work was done. You can rest too. Tomorrow is a brand new day!

Thank you for the reminder. It is also a day that the evil one is busy. I have been putting out fires today that should have never been started. We are a sinful people with the “me”mentality. Lord help me to rest the remainder of this day so that I may be refreshed on the day of your resurrection.
