I’m writing from First Baptist of Homestead tonight. We drove down (Ariel and I) to Miami area on Sunday for me to share in Spiritual Emphasis Weeks at two schools: Christ Fellowship Academy and Cutler Ridge Christian Academy. This is something like my 24th year of coming to CFA and I’ve been to CRC several times over the years too. It’s always an honor to be able to share with the students and staff at these places.

Today was a great start to the week. I only had one chapel today (at CFA). It’s Spirit week for them and today was crazy hat day.

This hat was gifted to me by a couple of WAVE team members years ago when we were at Rock City in Tennessee. It was perfect for today’s Spirit Day.

As for prayers, lift up the students and faculty at both of these schools for me, please. Starting tomorrow, I’ll be at both schools daily with performances and sharing devotionals. Of course, our hope is that people will give their lives to Christ as well as encourage those who are already followers of Jesus. Thanks for remembering us this week!
