While the Lord was on earth, He was about His Father’s business. Am I about my Father’s business? How often can I say that I am so united with God that I am always about my Father’s work?

To live in such oneness with God that I am continually at “home” with God requires a constant communion with God through prayer and His Holy Spirit. Every moment of my life is to be saturated with God’s presence so that I am always about my Father’s work.

Maybe God allows the circumstances in our lives to draw us into such a oneness with Him that we are relying on Him instead of our knowledge of a situation? God wants to demonstrate His love and grace through you as you deal with people around you the way that Jesus would. God’s business is your business and caring for and loving people are always His business.
